Issued as one of the 29 Olympic 50p designs to commemorate the games in London 2012. Each 50p features a different Olympic sport.

Piotr Piotr is a keen calligrapher who enjoys creating new letter forms and logos. In his design for the Archery coin, Piotr used his wife to model the action of pulling a bow to capture the energy generated before the arrow is released.
